Adding to the Trusted Zone
First open up ZoneAlarm and go to the Zone tab like this
Now click on the Add button in the lower right hand corner And you get this popup where you select what kind of item you want to add ![]() On all the examples before the names can be whatever you want them to be, but should be something that is easily identifiable. And then you enter the information in like this and then click the lookup button to get the IP address ![]() If you have an IP address like 111.111.111.111 Then select IP Address And then enter in the information like this ![]() If you have a Range like 111.111.111.111 - 333.333.333.333 then you want to select the IP range And then enter the information in like this ![]() But I have been told that adding a range in the Class C subnet doesn't work. Like this, 10.10.10.1 - 10.10.10.10 would work, but 10.10.1.1 - 10.10.10.10 will not. The Class C subnet range is 10.0.0.0 - 10.255.255.255 And if you have this kind of address 111.111.111.111/255.255.255.255 then you want to select Subnet And enter in the information like this ![]() Once you have entered in all the information in the form then you click OK. Once you are done entering in trusted zone information then you click apply. Adding to the Blocked Zone You go through the same steps as outlined above, except that you select blocked from the drop down menu where trusted is. |
